Appointment-Making via MySuccess CONNECT

MySuccess CONNECT provides an easy and efficient way to schedule appointments. This feature allows students, faculty, counselors, and select service areas to remain connected. Currently, appointments can be scheduled with counselors and select areas that have configured MySuccess CONNECT.  To schedule an appointment, log into MyUH Portal, click on the UHCC MySuccess tab at the top of the page and click on a counselor's name or service area, to access available appointment times.

Academic Surveys

MySuccess No-Show is deployed during the first week of the semester to coincide with the No-Show policy in the catalog.  This survey is used to notify the Records Office of students who have not attended at least one of the first two classes of the semester.

MySuccess Early Alert is a component of the MySuccess support system, designed to keep students informed of their academic progress.

MySuccess Consider Withdrawal is used once per semester to notify students if they are failing a course and should consider withdrawing to avoid penalty.

Updates and New Information for Fall 2014

UHCC MySuccess began implementation at Honolulu Community College during Spring 2014.  UHCC MySuccess is a retention and communication tool that is used to support students through provision of a comprehensive network built for student success.
 
MySuccess is located within MyUH Portal and Laulima, and can be accessed by clicking on the UHCC MySuccess tab at the top of the page.  
 
This Fall 2014, you will have the ability to keep students informed of their academic progress by raising "flags" to inform students that they need additional support in their courses, or by raising "kudos" to congratulate students can view information submitted via MySuccess, and information received are not part of student grades or permanent records.  
 
In addition to receiving the 'Early Alert' surveys that you received last year, you will also receive a 'No-Show' survey at the start of the semester, and a 'Consider Withdrawal Survey, which will be deployed during the regular withdrawal period.  
 
All of the surveys you receive are tied to specific service areas on campus which include the Records Office, Academic Counseling, and the Academic Success Center.  
 
Students are currently able to schedule appointments with counselors and service providers in various support areas on-campus.  As the semester progresses, more areas will be added to the MySuccess Network.
